Label coverage · whole-package planning

Epoxy Floor Coating Calculator

Turn your floor area and the coverage printed on your chosen product into a per-layer estimate and whole packages to buy. This is a label-based estimate, not a material recommendation or installation approval.

Editable example only. Replace 500 sq ft, 250 sq ft per kit, and 0.9375 US gal with your chosen product label. These are not universal epoxy coverage or package-size recommendations. Any loss already included in label coverage must not be added again.
Floor area and product labels

1. Enter the floor area

Use the same floor area for each enabled product. Label units can differ; the planner converts area units in the calculation.

Zero is allowed; blank is not a measured area.

Changing the unit keeps the number you entered.

All entered prices must use this currency. No exchange-rate conversion.

2. Copy each product label

Primer, epoxy, and topcoat are separate products, not a promise that all three are required or compatible.

Primer

Not included. Enable only if your selected system uses this product.

Primer label inputs

sq ft per kit / package. Use the label's lower coverage figure.

sq ft per kit / package. Leave blank for a single coverage value.

Select whole system only if the label already covers all its coats.

Whole number of coats of this product, not other layers.

Use the label unit for both rate and package volume. Numbers are not converted when changed.

US gal of mixed product, not each A/B container. Only needed to show purchased mixed volume.

Start at 0. Do not duplicate loss already allowed in the label coverage.

USD. Blank means unknown; an entered 0 means zero price.

Enter a package price for every enabled product to calculate a total. Missing prices are not treated as zero.

A coverage range creates an order range, not a guaranteed yield. Round each product separately. Confirm coverage, coat thickness, surface condition, and pack sizes with its supplier before buying.

Quantities display up to three decimal places and costs to cents. Smaller positive values show <0.001 or <0.01, not zero.

Check the label before ordering

  • Per-kit coverage is not per-gallon coverage. A kit may contain less or more than one US gallon of mixed product.
  • Per-coat coverage multiplies by your coat count. Whole-system coverage is applied once because it already includes the stated system.
  • Keep primer, base coating, and topcoat labels separate. Enter an additional reserve only when you intend to add it beyond the label allowance.
  • This tool does not choose products, calculate A/B mixing ratios, assess moisture or surface preparation, or predict durability. It does not save your inputs or provide a contractor quote.
