A Philippines concrete supplier quote should identify the specified mix, billable cubic meters, PHP rate, tax treatment, delivery arrangement and a confirmed delivered total. Keep conditional charges and job responsibilities beside that total, not hidden inside it. This is a checklist for collecting written offers, not a price list.

Prepare one job description

Send every supplier the same location, specification, quantity, access notes and schedule. A 3 m by 4 m slab at 0.10 m thick has a geometric volume of 1.20 m3. One hypothetical 10% allowance gives 1.32 m3. That allowance is not a universal recommendation: confirm it for the measured forms and placement conditions. Do not add another allowance if the quantity already includes it.

Include the required strength, slump, aggregate or admixture specification provided by the responsible professional. Ask the supplier to confirm compliance or state deviations. The slab dimensions above illustrate quantity only; they do not establish a suitable thickness, mix or reinforcement design.

Separate three parts of the offer

For confirmed amounts only:

material = billable m3 x PHP/m3
confirmed delivered total =
  material + excluded fixed charges
  + confirmed tax not already included

Do not add delivery or VAT again when already included. If tax treatment or a required access charge is unresolved, label the amount a provisional subtotal. An unknown charge is not zero. A rain policy is not a currency amount and cannot be added to the total until its trigger and cost are known.

Questions to resolve before booking

For the waiting-time line, record whether the clock starts at arrival, check-in or another event, and who records start and finish. For a pump, confirm whether setup, minimum hire, hose, standby and washout are included or conditional. If a supplier answers only with a rate, send back the missing lines. A verbal answer can inform a first estimate, but ask for written confirmation before using it as the basis of the order.

Is a written PHP per m3 rate enough?

No. You also need billable quantity, mix, tax treatment, delivery and access costs, plus the conditions under which further charges arise. The confirmed amount and contingent exposure answer different questions.

Do I need three quotes?

Several comparable offers can reveal omissions, but three is not a required minimum. A complete offer for a feasible supply plan is more useful than three unexplained headline rates. Use the same request for every supplier you contact.

Can I compare a site-mix crew with a ready-mix supplier?
